The outdoor events scene in the UK is one of the most established, high-quality, historic, and iconic on the planet. Britain can boast some of the most recognisable event brands, from globally leading festivals and country shows to spectacular sporting and cultural events.

NOEA was first established in 1979, and for almost 40 years, it has acted to promote best practices, consistency, and robust business throughout the outdoor events industry.
NOEA’s policy to educate, advise and enhance professionalism and business opportunities works. Through regional workshops, community networking, events, and partnerships, we create opportunities for industry professionals to learn about the latest developments and topical issues.
As part of our wish to educate and inspire those in the industry, we also look to affect broader markets that influence our own. We do this through our representation on the Business Visits & Events Partnership, The Genesis Initiative, The Event Industry Forum, and the International Festivals & Events Association – Europe.
